The Governor Francis Farms Garden Club is a sanctioned garden club with The Rhode Island Federation of Garden Clubs and National Council of Garden Clubs membership. The Garden Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 11:30am from September through May. The joining fee is $25.00 and meets in members' homes, the library, or The Aspray Boat House in Pawtuxet Village. Currently, the Garden Club has 20 members.
Goals
(1) encourage and stimulate gardening interests, cultivate the art of flower arranging and to educate members and the public in the fields of horticulture, civic beautification and landscape design; and (2) to pursue environmental improvement of natural resources and wildlife.
